I’m scared to death to fly period.

Why is this airplane so safe? When you fly, do you try to make sure that you only fly on this specific airplane model?

I am absolutely frightned of flying, and i have to fly tomorrow morning and i am really really anxious, i really want some reassurance onhow safe are planes when taking off and landing… also, how safe is a plane during a bad turbulence? how can i make myself feel better about flying?? please please help!!!

I am terrified of flying and haven’t done so in 8 years. I am flying from LA to London and I only fly Virgin Atlantic because they are supposed to be one of the safest airlines out there. Have I been fooling myself or is that true?

I’m booking a trip to Europe, and can’t decide between a nonstop on a Boeing 777 with British Airways or a one stop on a 757 and 737 with Continental. Researching, both have problems with icing, and the 777 is all over the news because of two incidents with icing. Which is best?

i noticed some kind of opening on the upper side of the wing which went up a little bit and then when the plane slowed down, they dropped.. can someone please explain what is it and how does it work,, is it the pilot who opens them or they are automatically constructed to open? I [...]
